Mal-aligned, chipped, broken, and discolored teeth gave Leora a smile that gave her little to smile about and added years to her true age.

Long-lasting porcelain veneers were bonded to Leora’s teeth. Veneers can cover dark fillings and actually strengthen and protect teeth.

Full Face
Porcelain veneers were used to cover the dark stains and realign Leora’s teeth to create a smooth line and bright, confident smile.
I never liked to smile before. Now I smile all the time!

Doctor’s Notes:

Presented with: Patient hated the misalignment and color of her teeth – felt they had a green/grey look. There was obvious crowding and rotation of the upper and lower front teeth. Over the years she had several composite restorations placed that were deteriorating; they were of the older type and didn’t hold up well – always chipping and cracking.

Treatment: Placed porcelain veneers over the front teeth to block the discoloration and give the illusion of straighter teeth – this filled out the smile more. Now she has a smile that is uniform in color with no crowding. A smile she can be happy to show.

Gina https://stage2.drandreaus.com/gina/ Tue, 05 Jun 2018 16:21:25 +0000 http://drandreaus.ddsmultimediadev2.com/?p=306

Gina works for one of the state’s best periodontist, gum specialist. She called our office in hopes of closing a few post-orthodontic spaces before her wedding pictures.

Prior to placing four partial coverage composite resin bondings/veneers, her teeth were whitened by using an at-home whitening technique. The bonding helped to close the gaps left by her orthodontist resulting in a more natural and uniform smile… from all angles.

A whitening treatment and placement of composite resin bonding material eliminated the gaps and gave Gina a more attractive smile.

Doctor’s Notes

Presented with: Gina disliked the gaps her orthodontist left on the sides, from the front it was. Although braces had given her a beautiful smile from the front, Gina was getting married in two months and the photographer noted the black holes in her smile were detracting.

Treatment: The gaps were bilateral, both sides. Four composite resin bondings/veneers were placed with no anesthetic to close the space and blend the shape with her own natural smile. Prior to the bonding/veneers being placed, her teeth were whitened with an at-home whitening technique.

“I had spaces left on the sides after the orthodontist straighten my teeth. After they had my regular dentist take out the first bicuspids and things got straightened, there was not enough tooth to fill all of the spaces. The gaps weren’t that bad from the front, but from the side it was the Grand Canyon. Dr. Andreaus did some bonding in just a few hour… Wow what a difference. Now I can smile from any angle!”

Rick https://stage2.drandreaus.com/rick/ Tue, 05 Jun 2018 16:20:24 +0000 http://drandreaus.ddsmultimediadev2.com/?p=321

Rick had been correctly informed by his previous dentist the broken front tooth would be difficult to restore and made to look natural. She was conservative and felt a crown would be a lot of work for a fracture that size and besides… it gave him character.

Prior to restoring the fractured tooth, his teeth were whitened by using an at-home whitening technique. The composite resin was layered and placed to emulate the natural layers of the human tooth, thus allowing it to blend and match his natural teeth.

A whitening treatment and the multi-layered direct composite resin bonding/veneer blended to achieve a more natural and attractive smile.

Doctor’s Notes

Presented with: Rick did not like the appearance of his chipped front tooth. Even though he disliked “the character” it gave him, he luckily had a dentist that knew her limitations, but also discouraged extreme restorations such as crowns or porcelain veneers. Rick did his homework and realized there were alternatives and a composite resin bonding/veneer was the answer.

Treatment: The tooth was thoroughly evaluated for further fracturing and cracking, and then his teeth were whitened with an at-home whitening technique. The composite resin was layered and placed to emulate the natural layers of the human tooth, thus allowing it to blend and match his natural teeth.

“I had a nice chip on my front tooth. Some people said it gave me character, but that is not the character I want to be remembered by. Dr. Andreaus made it easy. Now I smile without reservation.”

Doug https://stage2.drandreaus.com/doug/ Tue, 05 Jun 2018 16:19:26 +0000 http://drandreaus.ddsmultimediadev2.com/?p=316

Doug had fractured a portion of his front tooth, also one them was shorter than the other, while another was twisted, and another tooth was too short. Doug also wanted to brighten the color of his smile.

First Doug’s teeth were whitened and then the front teeth were bonded to repair the fracture and restore the irregular smile. A gum sculpting procedure was also used to lengthen and reshape the tissue to create a smoother alignment. All of the bonding was performed in one visit.

Full Face
Dr. Andreaus began by whitening Doug’s entire smile. Then composite bonding was done to restore the fractured tooth and to even the length and twist of the other front teeth. The result is an attractive, natural looking smile that enhances Doug’s overall appearance, and the bonding was done in just one visit!

Doctor’s Notes

Presented with: Patient wife was unhappy with fracture and color of teeth – felt that they were too busted-up. He noted he was unhappy with the chip in his smile. Patient had space between the two front teeth and spaces beside the front teeth.

Treatment: Whitened upper and lower teeth over a two-week period. Composite bonding placed on the front teeth to close the spaces and correct the irregular smile. Bonding was done in one appointment. Placed, cured, shaped and polished in about two hours.

“Even though smiling my smile was not my idea, I sure am glad I did!”

Millie https://stage2.drandreaus.com/millie/ Tue, 05 Jun 2018 16:18:19 +0000 http://drandreaus.ddsmultimediadev2.com/?p=311

Mille wanted a more attractive smile to eliminate the gap between her teeth and to correct the unevenness of them.

Prior to placing four composite bonding/veneers, her teeth were whitened by using an at-home whitening technique. The veneers made her smile and biting edges even and straight.

Full Face
A whitening treatment and placement of composite bonding/veneers eliminated the gaps and gave Mille a more attractive smile.

Doctor’s Notes

Presented with: Mille disliked how her teeth looked with the large gap and the uneven edges due to the misalignment of her front teeth. Although braces were the first recommendation, Mille was also made aware some sort of bonding/veneers would be necessary to close a space this large.

Treatment: The misalignment was just in her upper front four teeth. Four composite bonding/veneers were directly placed to enhance her smile, closing the space and evening the edges. Prior to the composite bonding/veneers being placed, her teeth were whitened with an at-home whitening technique.

“I had a large gap between my front teeth, but I didn’t want to go through wearing braces. Dr. Andreaus did veneers on my four front teeth. Now I smile a lot more!”
